How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?
Its been different because I've learned a lot than from before, because at fist i didn't know nothing.
What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment?
The environment is similar because in both places i learn new things, and it's different because in the workplace I only worked with things related to computers!
What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace? Which of these are transferable skills?
The skills I've learned more about computers, like vocabulary words, more computer tools/parts.
What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults? What kinds of communication (verbal and non-verbal skills) have you gained?
I have a good relationship with my Mentor and co-workers, we get along with each other. We shared our information about his college experiences.
What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?
What challenges have you faced in school as a result of the altered schedule and how are you handling them?
Sometimes i faced challenges is the trains because sometimes they were local and sometimes they arrived a little bit late. And i always arrived home at 6:00 because it was far.
I handled it by trying to get the early trains.
What goals are you working to accomplish during the remaining five weeks of the internship?
Some goals I've accomplished during this five weeks of the Internship is practicing my English skills to make it better, to feel more confident conversating with other people, and learning new vocabulary words that I didn't know before.
What new things have you learned about New York City?
New things that I've laearned about New York City is about the new technology that its increasing. Each day, scientist invent new things for example electronis,etc...
